What a great experience I have had working with Chris and his team for renovations of my condo! I was not local when tackling this project, and Chris made it easier than expected. He is clear, listens, is available, and made me feel comfortable with the process to the end. Chris is personable and professional. His team is accommodating and respec. I'd highly recommend Chris for remodeling projects. We had him do a full gut and reno of our basement and a touchup of the kitchen. He and his crew produce quality work, and his website has good before and after photos. He has fair market pricing, is knowledgeable, and has experience with older houses in the Baltimore area. We also appreciated that he is very good at having a conversation with you as to what you want to do, what is possible, and will also make suggestions to improve the job. His 1 year labor and materials warranty is also a great plus. Lastly, he is dependable. We also had a pipe burst that was unrelated to the project, and Chris and his team were immediately there to take care of the issue. He even went to bat for us against our insurance when they refused to pay out. Check out the before and after photos of our projects.

Chris refloored my front porch and rear deck - we couldn't be more pleased. He presented a range of cost options and advice to select the best product for durability and value. The workers were polite and professional. Chris communicated throughout the project. Work was completed on time and budget. As an experienced DIYer, I really appreciated the attention to small details in the joinery, trim and finish. Of the number of quotes I received, Fischvogt was by far the best value.

Chris and his team were fantastic! After a flood in our basement, he was incredibly responsive and kept us updated every step of the way. In addition to perfectly matching our flooring — and even improving the quality — they also repaired drywall, handled painting, and refinished the floors in our utility closets, all while staying within our budget. His crew worked quickly, respected our home, and left everything spotless. Most importantly, the finished result looks even better than before the flood. Chris and his team did such a fabulous job on our kitchen renovation and bathroom addition in our 100+ year old home. I would strongly recommend FGC. Here's what they did: They turned a useless pantry into a glorious half bath. And when we said that we wanted a big sink, but weren't interested in redoing the cabinets, he found a compromise that worked for everyone. We now have the kitchen of our dreams. Chris was always happy to get on the phone and explain the process, issues, parts needed, etc. When all was said and done, the project was only ~10% over budget, completely due to our own upgrades, and the 4 week project took about ~5 weeks, due to an outside vendor issue. This team's hard work and dedication to the project was clear from the moment it began. I will definitely be using FGC in the future and would highly recommend this company for any projects you have. (And, as an aside, my mother came over during the renovation. She remarked on how clean, organized, and usable everything was.)
